1. Service Description

PageShift ("we", "our", "the Service") provides online PDF processing tools accessible at pageshift.app. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Free Tier

The free tier allows processing of PDF and document files up to 25 MB in total size. No login is required for free-tier use. Free-tier processing is subject to availability and may be rate-limited during high-demand periods.

3. Premium License

A one-time payment of $9 USD grants a lifetime, non-transferable license to use the Premium tier features, which include:

• File size limit of 500 MB
• Unlimited pages per merge operation
• Priority processing queue

Premium access is stored locally in your browser. A license key is emailed to you on purchase to allow restoration on other devices.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund if the Service fails to process your document due to a defect on our part. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase with your order details. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. File Handling

Uploaded files are processed in memory or temporarily stored for the duration of the job. Files and all derived outputs are permanently deleted within 1 hour of processing completion. We do not manually review file content except when required for abuse investigation, legal compliance, or customer-requested support.

6. Legal Conversion Scope

You may only upload and convert files you own or are legally authorized to process. You represent that your use of the Service does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights, and does not violate applicable law.

We may refuse, block, or remove processing for files that appear to include unlawful material, non-consensual intimate content, explicit sexual content, child sexual abuse material, hate material, malware, fraud/scam content, or other prohibited content. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Safety Screening

To enforce these Terms, we use automated safety systems, including AI-based classifiers, to detect prohibited content such as nudity and explicit sexual material. Detection signals may be used to block jobs, require manual review, or report abuse where legally required.

8. Availability & Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee 100% uptime or that processing results will be pixel-perfect for all documents. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
